Queridos amigos,
Queremos compartir con todos, la gran experiencia y alegría que han vivido dos buenos amigos de Escolaridad Solidaria ONG.
Silvia y Ángel, dos colaboradores voluntarios nuestros de La Coruña, nos comentaron a primeros de año que querían ir a Birmania, conocer el país y sobre todo si podían hacer una labor de Voluntariado en alguna de las escuelas a las que nos dirigimos.
Nos pusimos mano a la obra con nuestros colaboradores locales en Birmania y después de unos pocos de trámites, el pasado 20 de Marzo Silvia y Ángel llegaron a Birmania con destino a la escuela» Yadanatheingyi gratis School of Nunnery» en Sagaing Mountain Range, Sagaing División. Aunque ahora allí es periodo de vacaciones, en esta escuela monasterio, viven permanentemente un gran grupo de niños y de niñas, muchas de ellas son huérfanas.
Se han alojado en la misma escuela y han convivido con los niños durante 15 días. Silvia y Ángel les han impartido clases de Inglés, Español y de cuidados higiénico-sanitarios. Al marcharse han realizado a la escuela monasterio una donación económica particular en favor de la educación de estos niños. En Birmania es muy difícil poder llevar a cabo acciones de voluntariado para extranjeros, pero con diligencia, discreción y buen hacer, se consigue casi todo.
El día 8 de Abril han dejado la escuela de Sagaing y ahora van a conocer un poco de la cultura del país. Hoy nos han enviado un avance de lo vivido en esos días a través sobre todo de unas fotos que os adjuntamos.
Cuando regresen nos contaran con más detalle su maravillosa e increíble experiencia.
Ahora solo queremos compartir con todos vosotros estos momentos de alegría a través de estas fotos y lo satisfactorio que es poder ayudar a estos niños y niñas.

We want to share the great experience and happiness of our two friends in Burma with everyone.
At the beginning of this year, Silvia and Ángel, two volunteers from the Escolaridad Solidaria in La Coruña (Spain), told us that they were interested in going to Burma to learn a bit more about the country and, above all, to volunteer with Escolaridad Solidaria in some of their schools.
We worked together with our local collaborators in Burma and, after a few formalities; Silvia and Ángel arrived in Burma and went to the “Yadanatheingyi gratis School of Nunnery” in Sagaing Mountain Range, Sagaing Division. Although it was a holiday there, a large quantity of children –some of them are orphans- live permanently in this monastery-school.
Silvia and Ángel stayed in the school and lived with the children for 15 days. They taught them English, Spanish and a bit about hygiene and personal care. When they left, they donated money to the school for the education of these children. In Burma, it is very difficult for foreigners to carry out volunteer work but everything is possible with diligence, discretion and good deeds.
They left the school in Sagaing on 8th April and now they are going to emerge themselves in the culture of the country. Today, they sent us a preview of what they experienced during the period that they stayed at the school. Photographs can be seen below.
